Fishing Charter Policies
When a fishing trip is booked for a specific number of guests we will never fill any extra seats. This is to ensure the privacy of the group and the quality of your experience. Our business clients and other groups appreciate this method of booking.
Group size per boat is limited to 4 or 5 people and for larger groups we will run two boats.
We find that the overall fishing experience is better with smaller groups.
All bait and tackle are provided.
- exception: Fly fishing gear will be provided by the anglers themselves, Depending on your experience and skill levels we may provide the charter or recommend another qualified outfitter.
Lunches will be provided as well as coffee and bottled water.

Launch times vary seasonally, but we usually launch at first safe running light. Your fishing day will be approximately 8 hours and will be returning to launch site between 3:00 and 3:30 PM.
A shore lunch break will be taken for guides and guests comfort and well being.
The Clearwater River is most productive when fished by drifting bait.
- We can and will utilize other methods as requested by clients or due to weather/water conditions.
Our guides (or any other employee) will not fish a rod. We feel this is a very poor practice and can be detrimental to the guests' fishing experience.
The Clearwater River provides a unique fishing experience. Small river and large fish is making this inland water a destination for anglers from around the country and beyond.
Regulation of outfitter numbers by the state Idaho prevents the rivers and streams from becoming over crowded by guides as many of the prime Steelhead streams in Washington and Oregon have become.
